How to switch online
You’ll need to complete your online switch at least 14 days before the 1st of the month that you require your new mortgage deal to take effect.
- To get started and to confirm you’re able to switch online, you’ll just need your mortgage account number, full name, date of birth and post code of the mortgaged property.
- Once you’ve read and confirmed you’re happy with the Execution Only Declaration, select your next deal.
- If there are fees to pay, you can choose to add them to your loan by ticking the box on the ‘Fee Information’ page. Or, you can pay them with a debit card when you submit your switch application.
- Once you’ve selected your new mortgage deal and confirmed how to pay any fees, you can move onto the mortgage offer. The offer will be created automatically, based on the next switch date. You'll then see the offer document, which will include your new monthly payment amount.
Important: Your offer document shows your expected balance and term as at your chosen switch date. It’s only valid for the day it is produced. If you search for a new deal and create a new offer, this will replace any previous offers. - To change the start date of your new deal, choose a new date from the dropdown list and click ‘Confirm Switch Date’. A new offer will be created based on your selected start date.
Before you proceed - please tick to confirm that you have read and understood your offer document. - Before you submit your application, please double check all the details and make sure you’re happy to continue. You will need to tick the box to confirm you have read and understood the Offer Acceptance Declaration.
If you need to make any changes after submitting your switch, you'll need to contact us directly, at least 14 days prior to the switch date. - Once you have selected ‘Complete Mortgage Switch’, you’re all done. We’ll send you a letter within five working days confirming your new mortgage deal and monthly payment. It’s as easy as that.
