Perse Community Lecture - May

08 May 2019 19:30 - 21:00

The Perse Upper School, Hills Road

What’s happening?

The Cambridge is delighted to be continuing our partnership with the Perse School as sponsor of their Community Lecture Series. The series is part of the school’s far-reaching community programme – bringing fascinating speakers to share their expertise with a local audience.

Reading your DNA: what can it tell us?

The May lecture will be given by Sir Shankar Balasubramanian, Herchel Smith Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and senior group leader at the Cambridge Institute. He will be speaking on the subject of DNA sequencing technology and you can find out further information here.

The lecture is free of charge and open to everyone in the community, whether or not they have a connection with The Perse. Due to capacity restrictions, entry will be by ticket only.

Tickets for this lecture will go on general release at 10am on Monday 1 April 2019.
Advance booking for Cambridge Building Society members will be available from 10am on Saturday 30 March.
