About the role

To play a key role in the present state and future of our reporting obligations.

You’ll be managing your own plans and co-ordinating with the wider team to deliver robust outputs which keep us compliant.

Salary and working hours

Starting salary £35,000 to £42,000 per annum

Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing day-to-day?

You’ll be responsible for the preparation of regulatory returns for submission to the PRA, FCA and Bank of England

For a subsection of our reporting obligation you’ll be responsible for reviewing the output of work prepared by other members of the team

You will suggest, review and implement improvements which can streamline processes which govern the delivery of our reporting obligations

Work with our Financial control team with delivery of interim and year end audits

Lead and support with Finance projects as required

You will understand and proactively keep pace with the changes to the regulatory reporting environment of Financial Services

You will contribute to the ongoing training of all team members around Regulatory reporting. This includes the production of regular training material and knowledge sharing

You will contribute to the production of reporting information packs for relevant committees and forums

You will be someone that:

Hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Strong analytical skills to reconcile data and explain reports to leaders across the Society

Ability to demonstrable examples of your excellent attention to detail

Experience producing a variety of regulatory returns within a financial services organization (eg COREP, MLAR, FINREP, etc)
