People and Learning Coordinator

About the role

Working in a small team with responsibility for attracting and recruiting new team members, through to on-boarding. You’ll collaborate to develop a tailored plan to support their integration and early stage development – building professional relationships and engaging confidently with all internal stakeholders. You’ll provide excellent advice and support to our team members, whilst getting involved in all aspects of The Cambridge.

This is a perfect opportunity for an established HR generalist to gain experience in Financial Services and grow their knowledge of Learning & Development.

Salary and working hours

Salary £22,000.00 per annum

Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm (36.25 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing day-to-day?

You will own the recruitment process. Working with hiring managers, understand the needs of each vacancy and create bespoke adverts to ensure candidates are bought into the business with the right fit and abilities

Promote our employer brand. Take the lead and proactively manage our premium pages on Indeed and Glassdoor and work alongside marketing to share success stories on social media

Manage the onboarding process for new starters to ensure the team member experience is exceptional

Act as a user administrator on CIPHR and support with all Starter and L&D administration

Support the L&D Manager with Induction Planning, delivery and training administration

You will be someone with

Is qualified to CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Practice

Is experienced in employment law

Has excellent organisational skills

Has the ability to influence and build strong internal and external partnerships

Can collaborate and communicate effectively and is open to receiving feedback

Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

Is confident to present and facilitate generic training sessions

Has the courage to take a risk and challenge appropriately

Has previous experience working in recruitment and L&D
