About the role

We have an exciting role opening as a Graduate Risk and Governance Officer in our business. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, motivated individual, preferably with a degree in finance, mathematics or a business related subject to start their career in a forward thinking, digital focused organisation. Ideally you will have an interest in working within the financial services as this position will see you working closely with the Prudential Risk Manager who will help mentor you into the business. This is a great way to start your career in a highly regarded Cambridge company!

 

Please note that this is a graduate position, so work experience is not essential.

Salary and working hours

Salary £ dependant on experience

Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm (36.25 hours per week)

What you’ll be trained to do day-to-day?

Ensure that regulatory changes are monitored, tracked and embedded effectively

Preparing risk reporting for Committees  

Provide advice on risk management to colleagues 

Maintain personal technical expertise on compliance matters

Support development of operational risk modelling scenarios

Carry out robust, well written, accurate analysis as requested 

Develop ideas for areas of further analysis

You will be someone who has:

Intermediate level capability in Microsoft Excel

An understanding of Risk Management in the Financial Services

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Good analytical capability and numeracy skills

High levels of accuracy, taking pride in your performance

The ability to use their initiative and also be a team player

A can do attitude, showing they can be organised and hardworking
