What Mortgage awards honour
The Cambridge Building Society has been recognised in the What Mortgage Awards for the fourth year in a row picking up Highly Commended in the Best Regional Building Society category.
The awards are voted for by customers and provide a stamp of approval, recognising and rewarding the best businesses in the UK’s mortgage and associated personal finance markets.
The Cambridge won the award for the previous three years but this year missed out on the top honour in the highly competitive category.
The What Mortgage Awards, now in their 24th year, are unique as they are driven entirely by the votes of customers. For six weeks, banks and building societies were nominated across a range of categories.
Andy Lucas, Chief Operating Officer at The Cambridge, said: “It’s always an honour to be recognised in these independent and prestigious awards.
“We constantly keep in mind the needs of our customers and make sure we provide a personal service to support them along their mortgage journey. We are not afraid to innovate and constantly look at how we do things and what we do with a view to improving what we provide wherever we can.
“It always means so much more to be recognised in awards that are voted for by customers.”
