The Cambridge invests in new-look St Ives store
The Cambridge today announces ambitious plans for its St Ives branch that will transform it into a vibrant, contemporary store that is ready to meet the financial needs of existing and new customers.
The new store, which is part of a 3 year investment programme originally announced in March this year, will provide visitors with access to the very best service, advice and guidance all in modern surroundings. The new store will continue to offer a face to face service, particularly for more complex financial decisions, but will complement this with a range of assisted-service options.
To allow the refurbishment to be completed as quickly as possible the branch will close in late January for around 3 weeks. The reopening of the new store will take place towards the end of February. The Cambridge is writing to its most frequent users of the branch to provide them with alternative ways to operate their accounts whilst the work is taking place.
Responsible for The Cambridge’s branch network is Andy Jukes, Head of Direct Distribution who said: “The branch has been serving the residents of St Ives and the surrounding area for 26 years and over that time has become an integral part of the local community. I’m absolutely delighted that this location is to be the first to see such a significant investment and the team are already looking forward to inviting customers new and existing to the new store.”
Heading up the project is Customer Experience Manager Michael Stead who commented: “The new format for the store has been designed around bringing advice and guidance to the forefront of what is offered to customers. Financial Services is becoming increasingly complex and the experience visitors will receive will enable them to get information on a wide range of topics from mortgages and savings products, to how to use mobile devices to access their accounts.”
