Community Magazine Awards
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to enter their publication into the 18th annual Community Magazine Awards.
The winning titles can be seen on this article about the presentation event on our Community News page.
The awards were launched to celebrate the diverse range of publications available for the region’s communities.
Groups, charities and colleges all put in a lot of work to provide their local community with interesting and relevant news and information. Each year, a panel of judges come together to review dozens of entries.
The panel considers editorial quality, community content and overall presentation, plus, of course, the publication’s usefulness to the community it serves.
Local editors and publishers are invited to attend the awards presentation evening – a great opportunity for representatives of local magazines to meet with one another and share ideas and best practice.
At the awards evening all entrants can ask the judges for advice about how they can improve their publication.
The winning magazines in each category receive a prize as well as a winner's logo, which can be used in their publication.
Entries are open to any community-run publication that is distributed within a 30 mile radius of Cambridge.
