Regular Savings Account (Issue 2)

Key features

  • A one year savings account that allows you to save regularly.
  • You need £20 to open your account and must make a minimum monthly deposit of £20 for the next 11 months. The maximum monthly deposit is £250.
  • A fixed bonus payment of 3% Gross p.a. / AER will be paid at the end of the term providing the following conditions have been met:

    • At least one deposit has been made each calendar month for 12 months
    • The total amount deposited each calendar month is not less than £20
    • The total amount deposited each calendar month does not exceed £250
    • You have made no more than one partial withdrawal, either by cash or cheque, during the term
  • This is an instant access account. You can take cleared funds from your account at any time without notice. However, you will forfeit your bonus payment if you make more than one partial withdrawal during the term. The withdrawal must be either by cash or cheque.
  • You can withdraw the account down to £20.
  • We calculate interest on the balance of your account at the end of each day.
  • Interest and the bonus, if applicable, will be paid at the end of the term. The account will mature and close on the day following the interest payment. 
  • Interest rates are variable and may change from time to time.
  • You may not hold more than one Regular Savings Account, of any issue, with the Society at any one time. 
  • We provide you with a passbook to help you keep track of your savings and interest.
