We are the largest truly local building society. We currently employ over 200 people within our 23 branch offices in and around the Cambridge area and our Head Office Administration Centre in Cambridge.
We offer our customers a traditional, branch based building society service. Our success is built upon our aim to provide consistently high levels of customer service - at all times.
To achieve this we are fully committed to the development of our staff. As an Investor in People organisation, we believe that investing in every member of staff is essential to our continued success.
Our recent Investors In People review was completed in December 2007, and we were delighted to hear that "The Cambridge continues to be exceptionally supportive towards both its staff and its customers and embraces a policy of continuous improvement. In addition, the Society's commitment to community activities and support remains very strong."
Our assessor also advised us that " Virtually all of the people with whom the assessor met during this review told her they believed the Cambridge is both a very effective communicator and exemplar employer.
