Cambridge Building Society, has appointed Matthew Donaldson as its new Non-Executive Director. 

Mr Donaldson, currently the Group Director of BGL Group Ltd, where he is responsible for the company’s four main trading businesses (frontline, Bennetts, Junction and comparethemarket.com), joins the Society’s board with immediate effect.

Matthew has a wealth of experience in the retail and finance sector having previously been Managing Director of Budget Retail Ltd, a national high street insurance intermediary with 84 branches. He has a strong marketing and sales background and also brings with him a modern management thinking, which includes understanding and developing organisational culture.
