Paradigm Mortgage Services, the mortgage partnership proposition, has added The Cambridge Building Society to both its own lender panel for directly authorised (DA) firms plus that of Paradigm Financial Advisers (PFA), the network service for appointed representatives (AR).

The Cambridge will offer Paradigm member firms a range of mortgage products including two/three/five year fixed rate mortgages, a three-year fixed rate remortgage, two-year discount and tracker mortgages, two-year fixed and tracker buy-to-let products.

The Cambridge Building Society also offers Paradigm member firms access to Cambridge Mortgage Master, an online mortgage tracking service, which has been specifically developed for intermediaries to help manage all their clients’ mortgage business online.  It provides a number of benefits including:

  • AIP Criteria Checker.
  • KFI production.
  • Application forms can be completed online.
  • Ability to track cases.
  • Security and speed with individual log-in details.

A dedicated Business Development Team will assist Paradigm member firms working alongside its Intermediary Support Team.  All member firms will be able to register with The Cambridge Building Society by visiting the Paradigm website and following the lender panel links.

Bob Hunt, Chief Executive of Paradigm Mortgage Services, commented: “We at Paradigm continue our focus on providing member firms with access to a range of quality lenders that are committed to delivering intermediary-focused products and services.  The addition of The Cambridge Building Society to both our Paradigm Mortgage Services and PFA lender panels means both our directly authorised and appointed representative firms can now offer the mutual’s strong product range to their client base.  As always we are working with the lender to ensure members benefit in a variety of areas including strong terms, online initiatives and further support in a variety of areas. The Cambridge’s intermediary proposition is an impressive addition to the Paradigm lender offering and we look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure a mutually-beneficial relationship is developed and maintained.”

Mark Smitheringale, Head of Sales and Marketing at The Cambridge Building Society, said: “The relationship between The Cambridge Building Society and Paradigm comes at a time when our business strategy is focused on delivering a high quality service. Through implementing The Cambridge Mortgage Master online application functionality and increasing the BDM team, The Cambridge will be providing a user friendly solution to Paradigm partners, specifically centred around our tailored, personal underwriting facility.

“We are very serious about our commitment to mortgage intermediaries and the key role they play in support of our lending objectives across the wider East Anglia region. As one of Paradigm’s lenders, The Cambridge Building Society is promising a high level of service, whilst continually developing our product offering to ensure we provide an outstanding package which will add real value.”
