1. How do I become a Cambridge Building Society registered intermediary?

2. Can the application and valuation fees be added to the loan on completion?
The valuation fee must be paid in advance to enable the valuer to be instructed, unless the applicant qualifies for a free valuation. The application fee can accompany the application form or it can be added to the loan. If added to the loan, interest will be charged on the fee during the term of the loan.

4. What happens when I submit the application?
Our aim is to make the mortgage application process as smooth a journey as possible for all parties. The following is a guide to how that process works.
| Submitting an application |
Please ensure that the form is fully completed (including postcodes). Send us all the applicable fees and documentary proof, detailed in our acceptable identification table.

| Processing an application | We assess the application, where possible on the day of receipt. Part of this process will involve checking the applicant's credit history and instructing the valuer. If there is a problem we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. |
| Valuations |
We will let you know of any queries or areas of concern arising from the valuation. |
| Keeping in touch | We will update you with progress on a regular basis. |
| Offer |
We will send you a copy of the applicant's offer document. You should advise us of any corrections or amendments to the offer without delay. |
| Completion | We will forward your Procuration Fee (where applicable) within 30 days of completion. |
5. Do you have a restricted lending area?
Our mortgages are available on properties located in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
6. What Procuration Fee will you pay?
0.35% of any residential case value, minimum £150.00, maximum £3,500.
